As the Fractional CTO at Teezr, Inc., I led the development of a Magento 2-based artists’ marketplace platform. This project represents a comprehensive eCommerce solution designed to connect artists with customers in a scalable, high-performance environment.

Technical Architecture

Directed the technical architecture of the Magento 2-based artists marketplace, coordinating a cross-functional team of 6+ developers and QA engineers to deliver production releases. The platform was designed with scalability and performance as core principles, enabling the marketplace to handle high traffic volumes and complex operations.

Custom Module Ecosystem

Orchestrated the design of a custom module ecosystem, including artist, artwork, marketplace, and dashboard systems with scalable architecture patterns. Each module was carefully architected to ensure seamless integration while maintaining flexibility for future enhancements.

Enterprise Payment Infrastructure

Implemented enterprise payment infrastructure with PayPal mass payout system for artist payments and Stripe integration for customer transactions. This dual-payment system ensures secure, efficient transactions for both sides of the marketplace while maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

DevOps & CI/CD

Established DevOps practices with Bitbucket Pipelines CI/CD automation for staging and production deployments, coordinating release management. This infrastructure enables rapid iteration while maintaining platform stability during high-velocity development cycles.

Media Management System

Architected artwork media management system with asset optimization and order fulfillment, coordinating API design and React-based editor components. The system efficiently handles large volumes of artwork images while providing artists with intuitive tools for managing their portfolios.
